The newly built Four Points by Sheraton is a 127 room luxury hotel located in historic downtown Savannah, Ga. The facility included guest rooms, conference rooms, restaurant with dining facility, lobby, & staff offices. The construction costs for this project were in excess of $10 million. Waters Mechanical was the HVAC subcontractor for this project. Pinkerton & Laws was the general contractor for the project.
HVAC renovations and modifications to Instructional Support Center located in Suwanee, Georgia was completed at approximately $660,000. Waters Mechanical, Inc. was the General Contractor for HVAC modifications and renovations. The scope of work was the removal of existing rooftop HVAC units utilizing a helicopter and a 275 ton crane for a 175,208 square foot building. Work also included associated electrical, controls, and piping.
HVAC renovations and modifications to Collins Hill High School, Walnut Grove Elementary School, Taylor Elementary School and Jackson Elementary School located in Gwinnett County, Georgia was completed at approximately $1,200,000. Waters Mechanical, Inc. was the General Contractor for HVAC modifications and renovations for five Gymnasiums. The scope of work was the removal of existing heat & ventilation units, exhaust fans, supply fans, associated duct work, controls, light fixtures, and partial electrical service in the Gymnasiums. New work also included the installation of roof mounted, gas fired, air conditioning units in the Gymnasiums with all associated electrical, control, roofing, piping, and general construction work.
Warren County Career Academy located in Warrenton, Georgia. The old High School in Warrenton was renovated to house the new Warren County Career Academy. The project required demolition of the entire building. Waters Mechanical, Inc. was responsible for installing a completely new HVAC system in the entire building. Pope Construction of Statesboro was the general contractor for the project and Waters Mechanical, Inc. was the HVAC subcontractor.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island is a 138 room hotel that opened January 2010 and is the first new hotel to be built on the island in 35 years and among the first eco-friendly hotels, unique to Jekyll Island Georgia hotels. The newly constructed Savannah Technical College Aviation Training Center is a 29,152 sq. ft. featuring a 5,000-sq. ft. hangar with a hoist as well as four training labs and six classrooms with a tarmac on the back of the property. The Aviation Training Center is located at Savannah Technical College’s Crossroads Campus. Pope Construction of Statesboro was the general contractor for the project and Waters Mechanical, Inc. was the HVAC subcontractor.
HVAC modifications to Ware County High School located in Waycross, Georgia. Waters Mechanical, Inc. was responsible for modifying HVAC systems in the entire building. Parrish Construction of Perry was the general contractor for the project and Waters Mechanical, Inc. was the HVAC subcontractor.
HVAC and Fire Alarm Replacement to Marshpoint Elementary School located in Chatham County, Georgia on Whitemarsh Island was completed at approximately $2,000,000. Waters Mechanical, Inc. was the General Contractor for HVAC replacement throughout the elementary school. The scope of work was the removal of existing heat & ventilation units, exhaust fans, supply fans, controls, light fixtures, and partial electrical service throughout the school. New work also included the installation of water source units, cooling tower, water heater, heat exchanger, and boilers with all new pumps. All associated electrical, control, piping, and general construction work was completed by Waters Mechanical as well.
HVAC and Roof Replacement to the Lake Blackshear Resort located at Georgia Veterans Memorial Park down in Cordele, Georgia at approximately $1,400,000. Waters Mechanical, Inc. was the General Contractor for HVAC replacement throughout the park. The scope of work was the removal of existing heat & ventilation units, exhaust fans, supply fans, and partial electrical service in eight villas/condos, a conference center, and hotel area. New work also included the installation of fan coil units, rooftop package units, small split units, chillers with all new pumps, and a make up air unit. All associated electrical, control, piping, and general construction work was completed by Waters Mechanical as well.
